This Banner Is Kind of a Big Dill: A Silly Craft with Serious Attitude
I didn’t mean to jump on the pickle trend… but here we are.
What began as a goofy idea turned into one of my favorite banner crafts yet — complete with sunglasses, sass, and just the right amount of salty attitude. I used my Silhouette to bring it to life, and now you can make your own pickle posse, too.
π₯ The Crafting Process
This banner was cut completely on my Silhouette machine using a custom SVG. It includes layered pickles (with shades, of course), funny little sayings, and even optional extras for you to personalize your own.
Each pickle is layered with tape to give it that extra pop — literally and visually — and it all strings together into a banner that makes people stop and laugh. Whether you hang it at a party, in your kitchen, or at your craft booth, it’s guaranteed to start conversations. (And maybe some cravings.)

π‘ Tips for Cutting + Assembly
-
Use medium-weight cardstock for best results
-
I recommend foam dots or tape between the layers for that 3D look
-
You can scale the pickles up or down depending on your space
-
Don’t forget to match your string or twine to the color vibe

Behind the Scenes
Confession: I spent more time trying to edit a video of this than I did making the banner itself. I’ve been trying to teach myself Canva and CapCut, and it’s a process. But I’m proud of how it turned out — even if I felt like the only one without a YouTube channel for a hot minute π
